Website terms of use, copyright and privacy statement

The material on our website is copyright to UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA).

Linking to our site or reproducing material from it - UKCISA members

UKCISA aims to support member organisations in producing accurate and up to date information for international students.

We recommend that members provide appropriate links from their own website to our student pages, especially the FAQs and Information Sheets, explaining alongside the link what UKCISA does. We would always recommend that members provide links to our website rather than attempting to reproduce information from it, to ensure students have direct access to the most up to date information. Members may not provide links to any pages within the members’ only area of the UKCISA website and may not give out their username or password to students.

Links to our site may be made provided that our logo is not reproduced on other webpages, and that no false or misleading claims are made about UKCISA or its relationship with the member organisation. Membership of UKCISA does not constitute any form of endorsement or accreditation.

Where members quote from our site, the material must be kept up to date and the full source clearly referenced. We do not have the resources to check what our members write, and therefore any information quoted from UKCISA must make clear that UKCISA bears no responsibility for quoted material being correct and up to date.

Linking to our site or reproducing material from it - non-members of UKCISA

Non-members of UKCISA wishing to reproduce any material from the UKCISA website must contact the webmaster (email: webmaster@ukcisa.org.uk) to request permission.

Links to our site may be made provided that our logo is not reproduced on other webpages, and that no false or misleading claims are made about UKCISA or its relationship with the body on whose pages the links appear.

Links from the UKCISA website may take you to other websites that are not controlled by UKCISA. While such links are provided in good faith, UKCISA does not approve or endorse the websites to which it has established links in any way. Links are provided for your convenience only and UKCISA is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any other website linked to or from the UKCISA website. Use of any such links will not render UKCISA liable to you or any other person for loss or liability of any kind. We have tried to ensure that links to off-site materials are clearly indicated. If we have linked to your material and not clearly indicated that the content is non-UKCISA, please let us know so that we can resolve the matter by making the link clearer.
