What is a Primary Contact?
Each member organisation has one Primary Contact, who is the main point of contact over membership issues and to whom we send the following on an annual cycle:
- April/May: details of Board of Trustees elections
- May-August: membership renewal information & new fees notices
- September/October: membership renewal invoices (unless you ask us to send these to your Finance Office instead)
If you wish to withdraw from membership of or subscription to UKCISA you (the primary contact) must let us know in writing by 30 November in any given year, otherwise fees for that year may be incurred pro rata up to the time when we receive your notification. Please email us at membership@ukcisa.org.uk.
Note: We reserve the right to terminate the membership of any member who is in arrears with payment of membership fees or other debts to UKCISA.
If you are the Primary Contact of a UKCISA member, you are eligible to vote in the annual elections to our Board of Trustees. All candidates standing for election must be nominated by two Primary Contacts.
Any member of staff at a member institution may stand for election to the Board. For more details see the Election Rules. Places come up for election in May each year.
