Parallel sessions

There are 55 sessions to choose from in 2019. On Thursday morning you have a choice between attending one three hour session or two 1 hour 15 minute sessions. Three hour sessions have double letters (BC) and 1 hour 15 minute sessions have single letters (B or C). You cannot attend both!

Please be careful with the booking form as it does not recognise if you book to attend two sessions which are running at the same time.

To choose which sessions you'd like to attend, see the list of parallel sessions.

Booking your sessions

Numbers for each session are limited either to ensure that sessions remain interactive, or because of room sizes. Some will be limited to as few as 15 participants; others open to over 50. Out of courtesy to colleagues please only attend the sessions on which you are booked.

Changing your choices

Changing your session registrations in advance or on site will only be possible if there are spare spaces available. Contact In Conference to request.

Changes to the programme

We make every effort to offer the programme as advertised in the conference brochure but we may occasionally have to make changes. Where possible we will indicate these in advance on the UKCISA website but we reserve the right to change or cancel sessions on the day if necessary.

How to book

Before you book you will need to:

  • choose your preferred sessions for each part of the conference you are attending
  • decide which meals you will be attending (please check your arrival and departure times and confirm if you will join us for the welcome and the closing lunch)
  • choose your social options
  • have a credit or debit card ready for payment

If you are a speaker, you will be sent an email by our conference organisers giving you a separate link in order to register with the speaker discount. If you have not received this, please contact In Conference.

If you aren't able to book with a credit or debit card, you can choose the option to receive an invoice.

If you have any questions regarding your booking, sessions or payment, please contact:

Cancellations and refunds

Notification of cancellation must be sent by email to ukcisa@in-conference.org.uk. Please ensure you receive an acknowledgement. A refund less £40 administration charges will be provided on cancellations received on or before 27 May 2019. No refunds will be made after this date.

In the event that the conference has to be cancelled due to circumstances outwith the control of UKCISA 2019 Conference, refunds on registration fees will only apply once other conference expenses have been covered. UKCISA 2019 Conference will not be liable for any other travel or accommodation costs incurred by participants.
