In this session - compliance with compassion - we will consider how institutions can meet their obligations towards UKVI and OISC whilst ensuring that students are treated in a fair and compassionate manner. Taking an in-depth look at the rules and requirements that sponsors need to abide by, we will consider if some sponsors are interpreting the rules too harshly and we will also work through different scenarios from the student's perspective. Could the institution have done things differently to achieve a fairer - but still a compliant - outcome...
