Assigning a CAS under the new Student immigration route

We invite you to join Ros Martin in a 2.5 hour small group online session. This will be a participative session, aimed at staff with responsibility for assigning Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to international students. This session is aimed at new staff but may be of interest to those wanting to refresh and understand more about assigning a CAS under the Student route.

In this online webinar we aim to give you the opportunity to consider and discuss:

  • the main requirements for assigning a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to students under the Student immigration route
  • the compliance duties imposed on sponsors under the new Student immigration route in relation to assigning CAS
  • issues that may arise when completing the CAS details for an individual
  • processes that your institution may wish to implement in order to enable you to accurately and confidently assign CAS under the new Student immigration route.

This course can be taken as a stand-alone course or in conjunction with some of our related courses which will expand on the particular requirements that need to be met under the Student route, such as academic progression and financial requirements.
