Student route essentials: Making an application under the Student route - FULLY BOOKED

We invite you to join Christian Adams and a member of the Advice and Training team in a 2.5 hour participative online session.

This session is aimed at delegates new to or already familiar with assisting students in making applications under the Student route.

The session will explore the necessary evidential requirements by looking at the Rules and guidance and also through the use of case studies. The session will also provide an opportunity to ask questions concerning the application form itself.

Aim and objectives

This course will enable immigration advisers to help their students make successful Student applications. To achieve this aim, you will

  • Know the key evidence requirements for Student applications
  • Be able to identify additional requirements that can affect Student applications
  • Be able to help students submit valid Student applications

This course can be taken as a stand-alone course or in conjunction with some of our related courses, which will expand on other requirements such as academic progression and financial requirements.

To support this course we will be introducing the use of Padlet for delegates to access and use. Padlet is an online collaboration tool, much like an online notice board, where tutors and delegates can post text, video files, images etc.

Tutors will use this space to share slides that support our online training, provide a networking space for delegates who attend the training and to follow-up on any questions that tutors take away during the training.

We look forward to using this as an additional way to engage with our attendees, and we encourage you to use this to connect with other UKCISA members. Further information on how to use Padlet will be provided alongside the joining instructions to this training.
