Student route essentials: Making an application under the Student route

The aim of this course is to enable immigration advisers to help their students make successful Student applications.

Objectives:

  • Know the key evidence requirements for Student applications
  • Be able to identify additional requirements that can affect Student applications
  • Be able to help students submit valid Student applications

We invite you to join Christian Adams and a member of the Advice and Training team in a 2.5 hour participative online session.

This session is aimed at delegates new to or already familiar with assisting students in making applications under the Student route.

The session will explore the necessary evidential requirements by looking at the Rules and guidance and also through the use of case studies. The session will also provide an opportunity to ask questions concerning the application form itself.

Christian has worked as an International Student Adviser for more than 10 years. In addition to working in a busy office advising students on immigration issues, he also manages the Start-up visa scheme at Imperial College and is currently the Chair of the AISA South East and London region group.
