UKCISA delivers training for professionals working with international students. We support you to gain the skills you need in your work and stay up to date with the latest developments and best practice to provide the highest level of international student experience on campus and beyond.  

Join us on our training courses this year to develop your skills, share your experiences and gain insight into how to deliver a world-class experience for international students.  Including new courses and updated sessions incorporating your feedback, our training for professionals working with international students covers our specialist areas of immigration advice and compliance, fees assessments, student experience and staff skills.

About our training

UKCISA is proud of its reputation for high quality advice, guidance and training. Our training programme is relevant and responsive to the external policy context, with a team of experts from within UKCISA and its member network. UKCISA's Advice and Training team are registered with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner for their provision of immigration advice. 

Our training is grounded in the principles of the #WeAreInternational Student Charter, a student-led document that provides guidance on delivering a world-class international student experience, from pre-arrival to post-graduation.  

Our courses aim to provide you with the tools, skills and knowledge to implement the Charter across your work and deliver the highest level of international student experience and support on campus and beyond. 

UKCISA also offers in-house training to Members. We can support your staff by delivering interactive online training across all the themes of our training programme. To discuss your in-house training needs, please contact training@ukcisa.org.uk.

Please note that while we are registered by the OISC for the provision of our immigration advice, training provided by UKCISA is not accredited by the OISC.
