After an extremely competitive selection process, UKCISA is pleased to announce that eight new international students are joining the #WeAreInternational Student Ambassador programme.
The 2024-25 student ambassadors are:
- Anastasiia Guseva, Uxbridge College, Russia
- Assanatou Sy, University of Bath, Senegal
- Kevin Yeung, Imperial College London, USA
- Pedram Bani Asadi, University of Law, Iran
- Philippe Weissenberg Anaboli, Imperial College London, Belgium

This year, 162 international students studying at 64 member institutions across the UK, representing 40 countries and regions, applied to join the programme. After being reviewed by a group of 32 judges, 25 students were invited to be interviewed by a panel of experts from the education sector - with a final eight selected from this group.
Yinbo Yu, Head of Engagement & Partnerships, UKCISA said: “Here at UKCISA, international students are at the heart of our work, and we are excited to be bringing in a new cohort of #WeAreInternational student ambassadors to work with in the future. We would also like to thank our outgoing 2022-23 ambassadors for all their achievements in their time with us.”
The new ambassadors will officially take up their posts in January 2024, joining the 2023-24 student ambassadors.
