We are looking for UKCISA members to present at UKCISA Annual conference 2025.
Presenting at our conference is an excellent opportunity to share best practice and discuss ideas with colleagues in a lively forum. UKCISA Annual conference brings together UKCISA members, #WeAreInternational Student Ambassadors, practitioners and experts working in international education.
The conference will take place on 25-27 June 2025 at the University of Manchester. Session proposals should be submitted by Friday 17 January 2025.
We are looking for proposals on the following topics:
- international student employability
- international student experience
Sessions will be in the following format:
- Interactive workshops (1 hour 15 mins) - Longer, interactive sessions where members can present a project they have been working on or a skill they'd like to share. It might involve a presentation as well as group or pair work with activities to help delegates understand the topic better. Maximum two presenters.
- Presentations (45 mins) - Shorter, lecture-style sessions but can still involve delegate participation. Maximum two presenters.
- Quick-fire presentations (10 mins) - Quick-fire presentations are perfect to share an idea, case study or a piece of research with delegates and we recommend this for individual presenters.
- Roundtable discussions (1 hour 15 mins) - This is an opportunity for you to bring up to 20 colleagues together to discuss a key topic in international education. Maximum two facilitators.

The deadline to submit proposals is Friday 17 January 2025. To submit your proposal, please share the:
- Details of your session (1,000 characters)
- Learning outcomes (300 characters)
You will also be asked some practical questions about presenting at the conference.
